Van Gogh: Brush with Genius

Van Gogh: Brush with Genius is now available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video!

Van Gogh: Brush with Genius is a moving look at the artist’s journey from his breakout period at 27 to his death nine years later. In this short time, he painted more than 900 paintings. Parts of Van Gogh’s story are incredibly sad, but his ability to see beauty in the world—even when it was a painful place for him to live—is astounding and inspirational.

If you need any further convincing, here’s Ellen O’Connor’s review (Ellen is the museum’s Program Manager for the William L. McKnight Omnitheater, so if anyone’s an expert on giant-screen films, it’s her!):

“Anyone who appreciates the work of Vincent Van Gogh will appreciate this movie. Van Gogh: Brush with Genius is the story of the artist in the short nine years before his death. The film is visually stunning and takes us to the places that inspired the artist.”
