T. REX features the remarkable true story of three kids who discovered a teenage T. rex fossil — a find that made headlines around the world. Cutting-edge CGI and breakthroughs in Tyrannosaurus rex paleontology contribute to a fresh look at the greatest of all tyrants, from its early years to its prime.
Created in collaboration with leading tyrannosaur scientists, natural history institutions, and groundbreaking visual effects artists, T. REX offers the most complete and accurate giant screen documentary ever made about Tyrannosaurus rex. T. REX intercuts the remarkable fossil dig, with state-of-the-art computer graphics that bring the iconic T. rex to life, from hatchling to adult.
The film is narrated by Sam Neill, best known for his role in Jurassic Park. A cast of prehistoric characters round out the immersive trip back in time, including rex’s archrival, Triceratops; one the largest animals ever to take flight, Quetzalcoatlus; and the 25-foot long Sinraptor, a species that likely fed on early tyrannosaurs.
