As the son of two engineers and immigrants, Phil has always drawn inspiration from his parents’ hard work while pursuing his interests in chemistry and biology. Today, in addition to his role creating antibodies in pursuit of his goal to produce science that helps people, he hopes to inspire confidence for the young people who will be the STEM professionals of the future.
“It’s important for myself and other people that look like me, that we have a platform to go on, to speak and just say, ‘There’s a different way.’”
