Growing up, Jayshree was surrounded by STEM professionals but found herself more drawn to humanities and arts. Now nearly three decades into her career at 3M, her love of problem-solving and building context is part of what makes her a successful scientist. 

“I really think my interest in humanities has helped me be a better scientist. The human context is sometimes missing in content-heavy STEM fields, and what I’ve found is that the context has always been very inspiring for me.”
