Friends of the Station

Friends of the Station

In 1996, the Friends of the St. Croix Watershed Research Station was founded to provide an additional level of public interaction and support for the research station. Members are invited to special Friends-only events which feature behind-the-scenes introductions to the research, scientists and activities at the station or in the St. Croix watershed.

Although grants and contracts support the cost of many research projects, these funds do not cover the ongoing costs of running the programs of the research station. Contributions from the Friends of the St. Croix Watershed Research Station are an important source of support to help us meet current operating expenses and grow our programs and facilities.

New members of the Friends are welcome at any time; memberships begin at $50 annually. For more information on joining the Friends of the St. Croix Watershed Research Station, contact Alaina Fedie at (651) 433-5953, or complete and mail this membership form.
