At the KAYSC, we want to make a lasting difference in our participants’ lives and the communities they impact. After KAYSC members graduate high school, they have the opportunity to stay on with the program through STEM leadership internships and apprenticeships with work-experience programs and colleges and universities. Our alumni interns are also an important part of the KAYSC program as mentors for our high school and middle school members.
We bolster alumni KAYSC members by aiding in planning their academic and occupational goals, helping them develop and utilize technological skills, and providing real work at the Science Museum, where members can develop science research skills, STEM teaching skills, and knowledge of museum careers.
