ADORNMENT
Arm band, metal band, silver with dragon design on front and lines along edges. A small hole on each corner. Bears the stamps, "Montreal" and "RS". RS is the maker's mark for Robert Cruikshanks. Cruikshanks was a silversmith who worked out of Montreal, Canada, between 1779 and 1806. He was one of the primary suppliers of silver items to Canadian fur companies for trade with Native American trappers during the fur trade. EF
