Science Museum welcomes new class of trustees

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Science Museum of Minnesota is pleased to announce the appointment of eleven new members to its Board of Trustees. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and diverse perspectives to help guide the museum’s vision of inspiring Minnesotans of all ages to recognize and develop their own capacity to use STEM skills and become the innovators our state needs.

The new board members are:

  • Mary-Margaret Zindren – Executive Vice President, American Institute of Architects Minnesota

  • Dr. Paul Campbell – Co-founder and Managing Partner, Brown Venture Group

  • Dr. María C. Pabón Gautier – Vice President of Talent, Equity and Culture, Project for Pride in Living 

  • Deborah Reider – Partner and Minnesota Division Leader, AKF

  • Tarek Tomes – Commissioner, Minnesota IT Services; Chief Information Officer, State of Minnesota

  • Matt Kucharski – President, Padilla

  • Angie Olsonawski  – Senior Vice President & Corporate Treasurer, CHS, Inc

  • Bill Dove  – Senior Institutional Portfolio Manager, Old National Bank

  • Tim Carroll  – Global Head of Digital Business, DigiKey

  • Tom Waley – Executive Vice-President, Saint Paul Saints Baseball Club

  • Will Geist  – President, Protein Sciences Segment, Bio-Techne

All eleven trustees officially began their service on Jan. 1, 2025. They will serve three-year terms, with the option to renew for a second term beginning in 2027.

The new board members will join the current trustees in overseeing the museum’s strategic direction and commitment to community engagement and educational excellence. Their appointments come at an exciting time for the Science Museum as it continues to develop and expand its cutting-edge exhibits and programs, reimagining the museum experience and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
