YARN

Aguaruna. Wound ball of white cotton prepared for weaving. Cotton is slightly dirty. Came inside of a hollow gourd - see 'A'. According to Dennis: the ball of string is thread that has been spun out of jungle cotton and is used for weaving belts, kilts, dresses, etc. Cotton is spun in the morning hours before sunrise.
