Ceramic Mermaid (Sirena) figurine. Mexican folk art. Created by Luis Blanco, Atzompa, Oaxaca. Hand-built, very low-fire mermaid form holding a fish under each arm, covered in decorative three-dimensional flowers. Rust-colored pigment accents on tail, centers of flowers, fishes' lips, and hairbow.
