Shawl
A girl’s shawl woven on a backstrap loom using cotton and metallic thread. The center of the shawl is woven from lavender and white colored threads. The top and bottom edges of the shawl are woven with a red and magenta border with narrow blue, white, gold, and silver stripes woven in the band. The two shorter ends of the shawl are woven with three bands of colored stripes. The shawl has two tie cords with tassels on the end. The space surrounding where the cords connect to the shawl are embroidered with a design which includes flowers, birds, and basket motifs.
