Loom

A backstrap from a backstrap loom, consisting of a thick, rectangular piece of leather with a twisted cord attached at each end. The cords pass through holes punctured through each end of the leather strap and are tied into loops. There is an embossed design pressed into the surface of the leather on the left side of the strap.
