Loom

A long, flat weaver’s batten made from dark colored wood. The wood of the batten is thicker one side than the other, and tapers to a flat edge across its width. The two ends of the batten also taper into rounded points. This batten is inserted into the white threads of a partially woven textile attached to a backstrap loom.
