COMB

Aguaruna comb. Teeth are made of palm and are held together by 2 rows of 4 sticks running horizontally at top of comb. These sticks are tied together and to the teeth of the comb with white cotton thread. Between the rows of horizontal sticks this thread is woven between the teeth to create a ">> >>" patter. There is a toucan feather tassle tied to the comb with a black thread. Cotton is hand-spun. Combs often stuck in hair for decoration.
