ARROW

Matses. Arrow/projectile made from a palm stalk. Tip is flat/oblong with decoration in yellow pigment. Tip is tied to shaft and secured with what looks like pitch. Opposite end is feathered. Feathers are attached to shaft with thin silver wire and secured with resin. According to Dennis: it had different tyes of arrow tips depending on what was being hunted - they varied for birds, animals, and fish.
