adze-hatchet
Aguaruna adze metal ax blade. Point of blade is 3.5cm long. Opening at the base of the blade for a possible shaft to fit within. According to Dennis Olson: This is a small axe used to tap rubber trees when gathering sap, making rubber was of commercial value. The Aguarunas joke that the patrons had calibrated muscle as they could lift up a ball of rubber and "know" exactly what it weighed and would pay the Aguarunas accordingly.
