Science Museum of Minnesota

Join us for an impactful evening celebrating science, technology, engineering, art, and math, featuring one-of-a-kind demonstrations and activities by museum scientists. This after-hours, adults-only evening will include delicious food, craft cocktails, a silent auction featuring unique local items and experiences, behind-the-scenes looks at our collections, and so much more to explore.

Science features:

How well do you remember your high school anatomy class? Test your knowledge by matching X-ray images of animals to similar specimens from our collection.

Giant T-rex replica

Why can’t a T. rex do push ups? Find out for yourself by donning a pair of dino gloves. Trust us — you can’t do this anywhere else.

Time for some core work! Sample a sediment core from a mini-lake, or flex your fish knowledge by matching fish heads to their species name.

Diamond dig

Can you dig it? Buy a dig ticket, scoop through the sand, dig up a “diamond,” and cross your fingers that your diamond’s number is selected to win a fabulous prize from a local company!

Science Live Performance

Lights, camp, action! Science Live is science simplified, personified, and amplified by our talented team of Science Live actors.
