Join us for an impactful evening celebrating science, technology, engineering, art, and math, featuring one-of-a-kind demonstrations and activities by museum scientists. This after-hours, adults-only evening will include delicious food, craft cocktails, a silent auction featuring unique local items and experiences, behind-the-scenes looks at our collections, and so much more to explore.

Biology

How well do you remember your high school anatomy class? Test your knowledge by matching X-ray images of animals to similar specimens from our collection.

Why can’t a T. rex do push ups? Find out for yourself by donning a pair of dino gloves. Trust us — you can’t do this anywhere else.

Anthropology

Engage with archeological artifacts from the museum’s diverse collection, learning about the people and history of the land of 10,000 lakes over the past 10,000 years.

St. Croix Watershed Research Station

Time for some core work! Sample a sediment core from a mini-lake, or flex your fish knowledge by matching fish heads to their species name.

Diamond dig

Can you dig it? Buy a dig ticket, scoop through the sand, dig up a “diamond,” and cross your fingers that your diamond’s number is selected to win a fabulous prize from a local company! 

Science Live Performance

Lights, camp, action! Science Live is science simplified, personified, and amplified by our talented team of Science Live actors.
