A fan-favorite brew just for you! We’ve once again joined forces with BlackStack Brewing to bring back the Thunder Lizard IPA, a unique craft beer that bridges scientific discovery with brewing innovation. Celebrate the return of this creature-inspired craft beverage with a hoppy happening at taproom on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Head on over to BlackStack Brewing to try the beer yourself, chat with museum paleontologists, and get up close to fossils related to the Thunder Lizard. While in production, Thunder Lizard IPA will be available for purchase at the brewery and at the museum’s two dining locations, The Cafe and The Kitchen.
