Joanne Jones-Rizzi, SMM’s Vice President of Science, Equity, and Education
Hi, I’m Joanne Jones-Rizzi and I’m the Vice President of Science, Equity, and Education at the Science Museum of Minnesota.
The museum is committed to using STEM as a tool to advocate for justice and equity. We want to support museum visitors, staff, educators, donors, and other collaborating partners to understand systems of oppression that impact all of us.
I chose this video because it illustrates the damaging impact of xenophobia and racism on individuals and our society.
